Lata complained in shuddh Hindi

I will definitely attempt to translate Mohe Panghat Pe, from Mughal-E-Azam, because it was in shuddh Hindi.

It means, “Nandlal (another of Lord Krishna’s names) teased me at the place where people gather to fill their pots with water.”

The next line of the song could be translated to, "He twisted my delicate wrists.”

Never has a complaint been so melodious and worth repeated listens, has it?

Lata Mangeshkar rendered the track, which was four minutes and a couple of seconds long.

She was accompanied by a chorus.

Shakeel Badayuni penned the Naushad Ali composition.
