Lata rendered this evergreen ghazal

Not for nothing did Madan Mohan earn the sobriquet Ghazal ka Shehzada (the Prince of Ghazals).

This blog contains a couple of songs from Anpadh, which released in 1962, and was, arguably, the composer’s finest work. It earned him a nomination in the Best Music Director category at the Filmfare Awards the following year.

If these were to be arranged in the alphabetical order, the immortal ghazal Aap Ki Nazron Ne Samjha would be the first.

The song, which was penned by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan, was rendered by the one and only Lata Mangeshkar.
