Although
this blog (now) contains posts on four songs from Asli-Naqli, that wasn’t always the case.
In fact, when
I started putting my collection of songs together, I knew just a couple of tracks
from the film.
If they
were arranged in the alphabetical order, Tera
Mera Pyar Amar – which is now the third song from the film on the blog – would’ve
been the first.
Truly an amar (immortal) song, the Shankar
Jaikishan composition was penned by Hasrat Jaipuri.
The only
female solo from the film on this blog, it was rendered by Lata Mangeshkar.
