As was the
case with numerous songs from the Golden Era, I wasn’t familiar with Main Pyar Ka Raahi Hoon, but upon
listening to it, I realised that it was a fantastic song.
Three minutes and 10 seconds long, the track from Ek Musafir Ek Hasina was penned by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan.
Rendered by Asha Bhosle and Mohammed Rafi, it was the shortest duet in the film.
While its first line could be translated to, “I am a traveller for love”, the song, which O P Nayyar composed, was a trip down melody lane.
