Hemant sang (Kum)arousing patriotic number

The soundtracks of a number of films released in the 1950s and 1960s featured patriotic numbers, because films truly mirrored the society then.

Ganga Jumna, which released 14 years after India become independent, featured a patriotic song too, and by no means would it be incorrect to state that it was underrated.

The track in question was Insaaf Ki Dagar Pe.

Three minutes and 20 seconds long, it was rendered by Hemant Kumar.

Shakeel Badayuni penned the track, which was composed by Naushad Ali and addressed the kal ke neta (leaders of tomorrow), i.e., kids.
