I have just
realised that neither my blog on the music of Hindi film music of the 1950s, nor
this one, contain posts on songs sung by Suman Kalyanpur.
So Na Jaane Kahan Tum The – the only song from Zindagi Aur Khwab (1961) on this blog – marks her debut on KalBlog.
She was joined behind the microphone by Manna Dey.
The track was penned by Kavi Pradeep, upon whom the Government of India conferred the honour of Rashtriya Kavi (national poet) after he penned Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon.
It was composed by Dattaram Wadkar.
