Mujhe Dekhkar Aapka Muskurana was the
shortest of the four songs from Ek
Musafir Ek Hasina on this blog – it was three minutes and seven seconds
long.
In fact, it was the shortest song in the film.
The track, which was penned by S H Bihari, was composed by the one and only O P Nayyar.
The only solo from the film on the blog, it was rendered by Mohammed Rafi.
(La)Little did Nayyar know that the track would (Jat)inspire the Pandit brothers' Mujhe Raat Din, from Sangharsh (1999).
Rafi's S(on)uccessor, Mr Nigam, rendered it.
