The first line of Jyoti Kalash Chhalke – the only song
from Bhabhi Ki Chudiyan (1961) on
this blog – could be translated to, “An urn of divine light overflows”.
By no means would it be incorrect to state that it should have actually been an urn of talent overflowed when two worlds, that were different yet inextricably linked to each other (in the Golden Era of Hindi film music), meshed.
Lata Mangeshkar rendered the track, which was penned by writer and poet Pandit Narendra Sharma, and composed by Marathi composer and singer Sudhir Phadke (a.k.a. Babuji).
