Bombai Ka Babu, which released in 1960, was a film whose
title was a curious case of misspelling – it fused the Westernised pre-1995 name
of the city (Bombay) and its erstwhile desi
name (Bambai).
Jokes apart, this blog contains posts on a couple of tracks from the film.
If they were to be arranged in the alphabetical order, Chal Ri Sajni Ab Kya Soche would be the first.
The track, which was penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri, was composed by S D Burman.
It was rendered by none other than the mononymous Mr Mathur (a.k.a. Mukesh).
