Rafi’s rendition elicited an “A(a)h”!

This blog contains posts on a couple of tracks from Kala Bazar, which released in 1960.

If they were to be arranged in the alphabetical order, and in the descending order of their durations, Apni Toh Har Aah Ek Toofan Hai would be the first – it was four minutes and 48 seconds long.

It was rendered by the one and only Mohammed Rafi. Although the word Aah here means a sigh, there’s no two ways about the fact that he never failed to amaze the listeners.

Shailendra penned the track, which S D Burman composed.
