Mujhe mil gaya bahaana to write a post on the only female solo
from Barsaat Ki Raat on this blog.
Well, it was titled Mujhe Mil Gaya Bahaana.
The track, which Sahir Ludhianvi penned, was rendered by the one and only Lata Mangeshkar.
Although the soundtrack of the film contained a couple of qawwalis (which I will write about in the subsequent posts on this blog), it wouldn’t be incorrect to state that it has stood the test of time.
Of course, Roshan, who composed it, deserved the lion’s share of the credit for that.
