Yeh Ishq Ishq Hai, from Barsaat
Ki Raat, may have been written as a standalone post, but it was actually an
extension of Na To Caravan Ki Talash Hai,
which, as I have stated in my previous post, was already quite a long qawwali.
The only difference between the two was that Asha Bhosle didn’t a member of the party that rendered Yeh Ishq Ishq Hai.
Manna Dey, Mohammed Rafi, Sudha Malhotra and the chorus were joined behind the microphone by Pandit Shiv Dayal Batish (a.k.a. S D Batish).
Sahir Ludhianvi penned the Roshan composition.
