Hum Kaale Hain Toh Kya Hua Dilwale Hain – the
second song from Gumnaam on this blog – may have begun with the phrase Khayalon
Mein (which could be translated to, “In my dreams”), but it was awesome in
reality too.
The track, which was picturised on Mehmood and Helen, was rendered by the one and only Mohammed Rafi.
It was penned by Shailendra, and composed by Shankarsingh Raghuvanshi and Jaikishan Dayabhai Panchal.
Five years after the film’s release, an English version of the track – titled The She I Love – was recorded. Harindranath Chattopadhyay penned this version.
