Expectedly, Rafi’s rendition was dumdaar

If the four songs from Mere Sanam (1965) on this blog were arranged in the alphabetical order, Humdum Mere Maan Bhi Jaao would be the first.

The longer of the two Mohammed Rafi solos from the film on this blog, it was four minutes and 32 seconds long.

In fact, it was the longest of his four solos from the film. This blog doesn’t contain posts on Hue Hain Tumpe Aashiq Hum and Tukde Hain Mere Dil Ke.

The track, which was penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri, was composed by none other than O P Nayyar.
