also the shortest track in the film – it was three minutes and 22 seconds long.
There’s no two ways about the fact that this sensuous track was a must on every Bhosle fan’s playlist, could be translated to, “This is the darkness of (my) silky tresses”.
It was picturised on Mumtaz, who wasn’t an A-lister then.
The song, which was penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri, was composed by the one and only O P Nayyar.
