Of the six songs on
the soundtrack of Teesri Manzil, a couple were solos rendered by the one
and only Mohammed Rafi.
The shorter of these was Deewana Mujhsa Nahin – it was three minutes and 26 seconds long.
The track, which was penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri, was composed by R D Burman.
The film – which wasn’t just produced, but also written by Nasir Hussain – was directed by Vijay Anand (who was fondly known as Goldie and had struck box-office gold by then).
It inspired the title of a 1990 film starring Hussain’s nephew Aamir Khan.
