Rafi and Ms Bhosle rocked!

Since Majrooh Sultanpuri, who penned O Haseena Zulfonwali (which simply means a beauty with tresses), didn’t use an adjective to describe the haseena’s zulfen, it is safe to assume that a follically-challenged lady couldn’t be the protagonist’s jaan-e-jahan.

Jokes apart, there’s no two ways about the fact that the song, which was rendered by Mohammed Rafi and Asha Bhosle, rocked!

The longest of the six songs from Teesri Manzil on this blog, it was half-a-dozen minutes and 56 seconds long.

The track was composed by none other than the phenomenal Pancham, a.k.a. R D Burman.
