The second
song from Hum Sab Ustad Hain on this blog was Pyar Bantte Chalo.
By no means would it be incorrect to state that it was a mere track. It was, in fact, a philosophy.
It was (Kisho)rendered by none other than Kumar, who was a reservoir of love.
If Asad Bhopali hadn’t written kal ke before netaon, people wouldn’t have appreciated the Laxmikant-Pyarelal composition, because the line would have been, “Netaon, tumse humne kya kya ummeedein hain lagayi” (which could be translated to, “Leaders, we have great expectations from you”). Ironic, isn’t it?
