Sajan Re Jhooth Mat Bolo – from Teesri Kasam – was
three minutes and 43 seconds long.
But hold
your ghode (horses, that is)! It was the second-longest Mukesh song in
the film (the longest being Sajanwa Bairi Ho Gaye Hamaar, which was
three minutes and 51 seconds long).
The track,
which was penned by Shailendra (who, incidentally, penned Sajanwa Bairi Ho
Gaye Hamaar too), wasn’t just a song, but also a gentle reminder that one
must be humble because his/her final journey will be on foot.
It was
composed by Shankarsingh Raghuvanshi and Jaikishan Dayabhai Panchal.
