were arranged in the alphabetical order, Piya
Tose Naina Laage Re would be the second.
By no
means would it be incorrect to state that the most interesting line of the track
was, “Main kahoon mat kar o chanda is
gali ka phera” (which could be translated to, “I’m telling you, dear moon,
don’t do the rounds of this lane).
His
astronomical talent notwithstanding, Shailendra, who penned the track, didn’t
think Earth's satellite would pay his instruction heed, did he?
